MSTSC primary display behaviour changed by windows update

MSTSC primary display behaviour changed by windows update

I already posted this one on the ms forum but didn't get any answer. I am
using Windows 7.
I have two displays and I would like to open an mstsc connection full
screen on the secondary display. What I did so far was opening an RDC,
then dragging the window to the secondary monitor, closing it and opening
it again after changing the resolution settings to full screen. This would
open the new RDC window in full screen mode on the secondary monitor
(being exactly what I want).
After having installed some windows updates for whatever reason the new
window is now always being opened on the primary monitor. I am currently
selecting the "Use all displays" checkbox which seems to have come in with
the update as well which allows me to show the remote desktop in full
screen on the secondary monitor - but it also fills out the primary
monitor which is not what I want.
Has anyone else noticed this behaviour? Is there a way back to the "old"
behaviour? Why has this been changed anyway?!
